![]() ![]() I think writers didn't have this plot twist so clear from the very beginning. Not only Eyvind gets mender abilities and is described as an appretince, plus he is quite weak at the beginning of the game, but Juno makes all the calls and seem to impress everyone by being key in Bellower's defeat. And now I'm replaying the story and it seems as if writers changed their minds during the development of the sequels. Juno being an appretince is really a plot twist hard to swallow to me. ![]() Well I came here because I was looking for info on this. I only mentioned it because I started a fresh playthrough to see some different options (I lost one of my original saves from 4 years ago with the choices I wanted) and realised how incongruous and jarring it was. There are also several pieces of text about how young he is and he's drawn to look much younger than Juno in BS1 as well. By doing this, I was able to carry over 580+ renown and make TBS2 a cake walk for the most part.Originally posted by Fringehunter7719:Eyvind introduces himself as an apprentice before he even knows Juno is alive. Do not buy supplies and do not worry about your morale or people starving. Only rank your characters up to Rank 2 then focus on getting everyone's kill counts from 25 to 30 to prepare them for Rank 10 in TBS2. During this playthrough, pick a few specific characters to focus on (I went with Mogr, Gunnulf, Iver, Egil, Rook, Alette, Oddleif and Truggvi). For importing a save you also get the level 6 item, Tome of X, as soon as you start the game. When you do, pick up every item you can, fight every battle including the extra fights in wars, and stock up on renown. Because of all this, it is highly recommended to go through The Banner Saga one last time on Easy. When you do this, it carries over all decisions (who died both through the story and at the end of the game) as well as your supplies, items and renown. If you have played The Banner Saga 1, then you will be given the opportunity to import your save. ![]()
